Baby Mario has been kidnapped by Kamek, a Magikoopa who achieved this by attacking a stork and delivering Luigi and Mario. Luigi is kidnapped, but Mario falls on Yoshi’s back. Now baby Mario is on Yoshi’s island and in the custody of a friendly dinosaur who feels obligated to reunite the baby brothers.
Yoshi must work with his buddies to transport Mario to Luigi and rescue Mario’s only brother from the hands of Kamek. Unfortunately, Kamek is not alone; he is in the employ of young Bowser. Yoshi, therefore,s must save Luigi by defeating Bowser and ensuring that the baby brothers are delivered to their parents in the Mushroom Kingdom.
