The Nintendo DS (NDS) is a two-screen lightweight game console. It was availed in early 2004.
The DS was a success with over 154 million units sold worldwide. The console featured games such as Super Mario 64 DS, New Super Mario Bros., and Pokémon Diamond and Pearl.
The DS was succeeded by the Nintendo 3DS (3DS) in 2011. The 3DS featured a glasses-free 3D display and improved graphics. However, it was not as successful as its predecessor since it only sold 75 million units worldwide.
While the DS is no longer in production, you can play DS games using an emulator. To do this, you should download DS ROMs from a reputable source.
